wait...is that funny cuz my computer still sucks, or is it funny because atma meant something different than what i thought he meant? :donno:
eh.. i never really have much trouble with my pc, it's usually just audio programs that fuck up if i start running too much stuff for it to handle. other than that, i never really have crashes or anything. it's best to keep your pc clean, dont install tons of useless shit, keep it to a bare minimum and make sure everythings in order, and that you're running current drivers for all your stuff & it should be ok...

NO MACS IN MY HOUSE!!! I'd have to smash 'em like on office space.

That was a pc on office space, wasn't a mac in the movie.
Seriously, right now I have a pc, a mac tower and a mac laptop. I absolutely have to have the pc because for the highend shit that I do I need as much speed as possible, and I cant afford the really fast macs. But I do 3d graphics, animation and video, all of which require high speed and large amounts of storage space, none of which is affordable for me in the mac world (my mac tower is scsi).
However, since I'm guessing that most of you with computer problems are doing far less highend work on your computers, you're really crazy not to at least look into a mac. There is NO COMPARISON in the stabillity of the operational systems, or in visual pleasentry for that matter. You will never see a blue screen again!
Ask somebody who has used or uses BOTH, and see if I'm lying. If the most of what you do on a computer is surfing, word processing, games (though games ARE limited for the mac), digital photography...you know, consumer based shit...stop kidding yourself and CHECK OUT A MAC!
If I could afford it, I probably wouldn't have a pc at all...heheheh.
ps- and if you really insist, you could always install virtual pc and then run any pc OS you choose on your mac...nice and smooth too!

I'll jump in and say that those of you who just use your computer to surf the web, send email, and general computer stuff you could use a mac and not really notice a differance. only reason I don't have a mac right now is I simply don't need one I work with XP Pro, Linux and Unix daily and for what I do those 3 do it. I still want another PowerBook Ti though, that thing was nice.

yeah, but i can still smash 'em like they did.. :frek: (that's me wanting to smash some macs....)
there's a 3 ghz P4 out now, mac gotta do sum catching up............and actually the more i use macs the more i like coming home to my pc, but i still would like sumthing beefier, the way shit evolves though it seems the longer you put off investing in sumthin new the better off you is
