i think the sounds are decent, but if it were mine i'd work the synth into a tighter melody instead of just the somewhat random one it is

yeah i didn't even save the project, it was just way off my style so i kept a wav of it (and random shit is my new little weapon  )

okay, i listened to it. It deserves more credit. I really like the beat. I don't think the synth makes it better or worse, but it's fine how it is.
I know you didn't use cakewalk for that, so tell me...what DID you use? That actually sounds like a real drum beat, very unlike effin' cakewalk..

reason 2 sequenced from cubase sx and just the stock plug ins in cubase, check out battery for beats, i just got it and am really happy with the drum samples that came with it.

the sickest thing about reason is you can flip all the componets over and then route shit around like mad. it has nice modular capabilities--you can do some insane shit by routing the CV and other stuff around to different things.

btw the new sampler in reason is just sick, probably hte nicest soft sampler i've seen (kontakt is good too though)
