whats with everyone waiting so long to get their license? by the time I was 19 I had racked up quite an impressive list of speeding tickets :thumup:

i would have had my license sooner...but i didnt have a car that i could take the test in...and when i was 16, my family barely had a street legal car...so basically i had to wait until i had a car i could practice in, and then inevitably take the test in. And i didnt see a point of having a license if i didnt own a car to drive once i had it anyway, so that is another reason it took me so long to get it. The streets have been kept safer because of it!! :thumup: :wink:

because i got my probationary license in march

haha syxx. i actually failed my first driving test--i'd had 2 weeks of drivers ed and had no actual experience.. i took the test w/ some cop in this little town near here (simply cuz i didn't want to wait 3 hours at the DMV) who made me drive around his crappy town for like 20 minutes, and he told me afterwards i didn't come to a complete stop at a stop sign, and i should've stopped for this car that started pulling out of his driveway in front of me....

so then i went back to the dmv in the city i live in and took it again and the lady just made me drive around the block, and that was it :)
