you guys no of anything with 4 stereo spdif (coaxial or optical) ins and one eight channel adat out? rack unit, mixer, anything. adat back to spdif would be nice too. i think it doesn't exist i can't find one anywhere.

still don't understand how you don't like cubase :donno: all a logic 6 is ideas from cubase. wish i had access to logic's plug ins though and the freeze function looks convenient, plus it just looks real nice.......i like cubase, but it's ugly as hell

nah dude it's other way around, cubase sx ripped a lot of ideas from logic, not to mention tried to look similar. but logic is way uglier than cubase is, for real. but logic has a lot more functionality, it's more of a modular, open-ended program.

I hate Logic cause it's ugly as hell and ya practically need a phd to run it.

The amount of features in Logic now are startin' to justify a switch though...

na man don't get me wrong, the whole sx thing took alot from logic, i'm talking the actual shit they did to 5 to make it 6 was mostly cubase shit. but that happens with everything, these guys think of something new then everyone else has it in a month and then a little more, then the other guys look at the little more and.......etc.......... newbie? hahaha yeah but i hide it well :wink: i have been doin sequencing for like 10 years, just not software :flipoff: oh i didn't tell youz, i just picked up a new toy check it out (http://www.waldorf-music.com/microwave_xt/) got the 30 voice version for only $700 and i'm lovin it, it's like the thing was fukkin built for industrial shit.
