dont wanna sound like an @$$, but is there anyway u can put those at at least 192kbps? cause coming from record, eye know quality can be fragile when the transfer to mp3.. (compressed)

Thanks :umm: :poke:

anyone who heard the version of ode that was on some editions of "of the heart" wont know what coz is talkin about, the ultimatum mix and some others seem to have a different vocal track and the singing is very bad i must admit.

i just got ode 12' offa ebay, dated 89' and all the versions sound totally different to the one that was an extra track on my "of the heart" cd.

thats why i didnt see what coz was talking about so much until i heard this version.

its either that or the one i got offa "of the heart had some smooth ass production!

maybe thats the original and ultimatum just wernet as carefull with the production!?!?!?

alough i think the rapping sounds better.

hold up..................i think.....yep.

im talkin shit again.

oh well

The 12inch from '89 most likely has the original mixes. I believe Gee St. added a couple of mixes that included the original vocals. Be had a cold at the time, but I didn't buy his excuses...my mistake! :slap:

The original release was on Warlock and contained Be and Jarret's original arrangement (just the sample I believe) and my remix. Not much in the way of production I must admit...I've done much better...but I was pretty proud of my little reggae bass line.

And it did get them noticed by Gee St....heheheheh

I'm sorry, did you say you were going to post the remixes of Ode on the site for downloading? Or is that just my wishful thinking? :donno:
