When you get sick of customers is usually when you do your best....for example. Had a customer come in and explain that a competitor had a better warranty. Me, being annoyed with him in general, used the Tommy Boy rant. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what went through my head, but I actually said it."Well, I could shit in a box and slap a 15 year warranty on it if that makes ya feel warm and fuzzy, but what all you really have is a guaranteed piece of shit. The next thing ya know though, is youve got Fairies in your house and your daughter is knocked up."
The customer laughed so hard, and appreciated the moment that he made a purchase. Man, if only my friends were around to enjoy that moment..That is all.

that's always a good feeling...I've never used the tommy boy one, but I sure as hell used to fuck with customers a la "clerks" -- "I don't appreciate your little ruse, ma'am..."

I have to be funny when talking to patients but I've laid a few of them out. Some people think you work for them & not the dr, cracks me up!!
