Whats your stance on that? I can't find any 12 inches but you can find Newcleus on slsk .... It's my understanding that you're not getting paid regardless...

prolly 95% of my mp3 collection is shit you can't find in stores... that's why I loved napster and audiogalaxy ... not for dl'ing the latest missy elliot single.. I support artists dammit but if I can't find something at a store, or if it's so out of print that any existing copies for sale are ridiculously overpriced, damn right I'll settle for an mp3.

I do get paid for LEGITIMATE uses of my Newcleus stuff, not as much as I'd like since I don't own either the masters or the publishing, but I do get paid! I probably get paid more from people sampling my stuff legitmately and paying the proper royalties than I do from sales of the original songs...so by all means...SAMPLE AWAY!!!

I have NO problem with Newcleus mp3s or mp3s of my other stuff either, I feel it helps to keep the interest in the material alive. As a matter of fact, it's the only way I even have some of the more obscure material I have produced and/or put out, since I had lost copies years ago. I'm of the firm conviction that most people who download the stuff would probably either have never bought it...or can't find it to buy...anyway.
