Care to explain,SameDeep?
How so? Live came out years before Creed. Plus I think they sound better too. For instance, none of lives albums sound alike. Yet one can alwasy tell the creed sound even before they start singing.
But I respect your opinion. Live is not for everyone. Well they did make 2 studio marketed albums that I liked and seemed to be the only one who did as everyone else wanted to hear the next throwing copper.

I never said I didn't care for live. They have some decent stuff. (i alone, lightning crashes, etc) but I'd rather listen to them for a week straight than even 30 seconds of creed. creed = overly pretensious (sp?) pseudo-christian rock, that's afraid to admit what it is lest they lose they audience. A ridiculous amount of people stopped listening to Insane Clown Posse when they finally revealed they were all about God. I have a problem with a band that believes their own fiction. Well, I don't have a problem with them, but it does boggle me that they're so popular. Cold, calculated, see right through them. I don't even like talking about them, but you asked. The whole subject is just tired. I'm not going to get into a "creed rocks! no they don't!" debate. I always prefered Candlebox over Live anyway.
creed ain't overmarketed? creed has "deep stuff"? no wonder you're so messed up. And now, a word from Axl Rose:
"You can use your illusion, let it take you where it may. We live and learn and then sometimes it's best to walk away. Me, I'm just here hangin' on, it's my only place to stay, at least for now, anyway. I've worked too hard for my illusions just to throw them all away."
and I dedicate that to you.
rock on...

Hey hey@!
I NEVER said that creed was not over marketed,(read my previous response again)I said they WERE.
That is why I like Live MORE.
I agree with you on creed. But as over marketed as they are you can't deny that some, not all of their stuff is good. That's all I'm saying.

You guys have AWESOME taste in music. Now I remember why I like you. lol
okay. here we go.
PM Dawn-- all (*esp Of the Heart)
Seal-- all (esp s/t #2)
Nine Inch Nails-- The Fragile
Counting Crows-- all (but the recent ones not so much)
Erykah Badu-- Mama's Gun
Prince-- Parade
very honorable mention to Mos Def-- Black on Both Sides
comment on the Me'shell Ndege'Ocello- Plantation Lullabies mention:
it is not one of my favorite albums, but I think it's one of those albums that a hell of a lot more people should listen to... especially close-minded people that seem like they hate anything outside their own [white] culture. I think it's perfect to stir some people up a bit who need stirring, but the songs themselves don't necessarily do it for me. But she is very very talented... I really like her style.
I was impressed by the people who mentioned Live, Me'shell, A Perfect Circle, Sade, Anggun, Massive Attack, Lenny, Fiona, Portishead, Bjork, Bowie, Tribe, and any of my people up there. You guys are pretty cool. I like being around people with some good taste!
Not big on Aimee Mann or Creed...
love
Elizabeth
