Two of my closest friends are finally getting married tomorrow. I am almost glad it's over with it, (you'd have to be here but very poor last minute planning) but still should be fun. So thats what I've been laying low.

Hopefully I'll catch up on the hundreds of posts I've missed in the last few weeks by next week....

:)

Thanks. It actually turned out Much better than I thought. We had a great time. I've got some pics i'll post in a few days. They were calling for rain, it was right on the river, so very glad it held off.

I'm just glad its finally done & we can all stop stressing!

hehe...actually we threw birdseed & apparently his family is VERY competitive because they were Pelting them with it. It was hilarious.

I've noticed that marriage fever is indeed making a comeback lately . . . bachelors and bachelorettes beware!

the only girl I marry is the one that shoots me in the head and drags my dead body down the aisle

yeah it really is Dark Sun!

its almost sickening. It makes you feel bad because (even though I'm certainly not considering even the idea of getting married) you feel more alone.

Then you just remind yourself you are much happier not being married.

Vicious cycle

I totally hear you! I mean, I kinda worry about myself . . . I don't want to marry a girl just because I'm afraid of being alone, but at the same time, sometimes you feel so alone that you want to be married just so you won't feel that way. Like you can convince yourself that marrying someone that you don't truly love is better than being alone.

Trust- I won't succumb to marriage fever anytime soon, but sometimes I do have stray thoughts about getting serious with this chica that I'm not really into all the way.

This life totally terrifies me.

Hmm. Better hope she doesn't do a cost/benefit analysis.

Benefit: Married to Hax
Cost: Bullet

Hmm . . . seems like a raw deal to me.

No . . . . please! Don't hit the ban button!

the ratio would be the caliber of the round, hince a .50 cal round would cost more than say a .223 cal round. There is also a kill factor, so it may take several .223 rounds to kill me and only one .50 cal shot to kill me, but then again it would only take one well placed small .22 cal round to off me so there are a lot of factors to figure in...if you need exact numbers ask frek to figure it out. The other side of the ratio depends on how much I own at the time and weather or not she took out a life insurance policy on me before hand.

I get worried when any thought goes into a reply.
