I getting my mom some flowers and I got my bosses (both female) a couple of happies. You're not alone here Be. I have yet to find that special someone, but I not going to stress myself over it. I'm sure she is wherever she is working on her just as I am her working on me. And that's all good. All things considered I hope everyone's valentine's day is special.

Strangely that's really the only Valentines Day I remember, now I just say fukk it. Love wastes too much time and costs too much money, and in the end does nothing for me.

Like we need a reminder to watch all these couples be happy, but I guess no bitterness should be directed their way

I used to be sad or slightly bitter about Vday, but I have mostly been fond of it in my life.

Josh and I are staying home. I got him some Nestle Turtles and some Jelly Belly mixed bag of jelly beans, a Valentine's card, and some pens. He got me some chocolates and a pair of white gold and blue topaz earrings (the colors match my engagement rings). There's either diamonds or cubic zirconia in there too (I didn't ask which! But my guess is the latter). I am probably going to wear them to our wedding this September. Evie got Daddy a Valentine card. Mommy and Daddy got Evie a Valentine card and a new shirt/jacket. It looks like dark denim but has pink cuffs and hot pink flowery designs on it. It's cuter than I am able to describe properly.

My guess it cz too, eliz ;) . Don't worry, one of my geology professors told me about a guy that studied them all his life getting his wife a cz wedding jewel(she was mad, but it meant more to him that diamonds would). It makes sense becasue diamonds have a lot of baggage attached to them (mining practices, etc) and cz is actually kinda interesting, not to mention looks exactly the same and can have very similar physical properties.

Well that is all I have to stay...my night went OK, alone and OK.
