It's the whole familiarity thing that is so comforting to us all...
It makes us never want to leave the things in are life that we set up and are used to. Never knowing if we are going to regret leaving someone combined with the feelings of loss you have when leaving someone... this all leads to us staying with people that aren't necesarily right for us.
But change is inevitable, no matter how stable you try to make your life. I went through a huge faze where I wouldn't change anything in my life - trying to allow myself to feel not so crazy in the head at the low points. But that life is rediculous. Learning to embrace change makes it easier to venture to unfamiliar places and makes finding better situationsa real possibility. :bigthumb:

I think it does have some to do with familiarity, and well comfort, safety
sometimes unhappiness is something in society we're used to dealing with so we can't see leaving it, plus doesnt' mean all your feelings about someone are unhappy. Plus being on your own can be a scarey thing sometimes and some people just aren't into that.
people move at their own pace & can let go when their ready, no matter what people tell them, so you aren't crazy by ANY means hon, just means your Human!! :) :)
