Man, I've lived just up the hill from where they're buildin that shit for most of my life. The spot where they're puttin it up is an EYESORE...always has been. It's even more so now because they have improved the area all around it, so it sticks out like a sore thumb.

According to the plan, those 500 people and business's all will be well compensated AND relocated to prime spots in the area when it's rebuilt. Muthafukkas just gotta have sumthin to complain about.

Plus this shit will create mad jobs too...sumthin most of the bums who live ther now probably ain't got. So I'm all for it...only drawback that I can see will be the increased traffic.

I don't watch much NBA basketball, but I think the Nets will be good for the area. It will definitely look better than what's there now. It could also increase the business in the surrounding area.

And it's just a walk away from the drool-inducing eatery BISCUIT!

:dunno: The news said that everyone was flocking to go to the some bakery in New York owned by some Japanese folks who brought back the Creme Puff desert.

There is a place in Manhattan on 11th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues, where you can get all sorts of tarts, puffs, cakes, etc. I think it's Italian though. But it's packed most nights, especially Saturday. I love finding places like that here.
