SO the new Prince is top notch then eh?
Hey!!! That new Wilco isn't out yet!!! Naughty! Quick question on that how are those long song? 10 minutes and fifteen minutes....
I've been a big PolyphonicSpree guy because i was always a huge Tripping Daisys fan.
I've been getting into
THe Fire Theft-some of the guys from Sunny Day Real Estate. Sounds like a mix tweenst Janes Addiction and maybe a little Blind Melon with some Pop sensabilities.
The Fruit Bats-Mouthfuls-Very poppy and easy to get into. If you enjoy Pop music ala the Beach Boys or Beatles this is for you.
John Vandeslice-Cellar Door- Not the strongest most powerful of singers but this dude is creative. Reminds me of a poppier version of Tom Waits with a better voice than Mr. Waits.
I have more---the new Autumn Defense is quite good as well.

Chrisldog, i sure enough own it. The newest Eels is good but not as groundbreakingly great as some of their other albums. It reminds me the most of the first album with maybe a bit of rock like approach. All in all it's a worthwhile purchase. You cannot miss with any of there albums at all.

Yeah, I wouldnt call it prince's best.. but it sure has kept my cd player occupied lately..
And the wilco songs are top notch brilliance. Some songs are 10,15 minutes a piece, but for the most part they are standard..
Wilco Got deep yall.. another classic like YHF. :)

Tweedy and Company are making some tasty little albums. Since Being There i've been pretty damn happy with them. I can never decide which album i like more YHF or Summerteeth. I think Summerteeth is far easier to get into. Both great freakin albums. I cannot wait to hear the new one.

If you like Jamiroquai, check out a band called Phoenix. If you saw Lost in Translation, you would have heard one of their songs during the party scene. They have a new album just released, but it might still be an import at this point.
