so i finish matrix 3 and im a tad confused
neo and smith die cuz they're yin and yang?
smith turns into the oracle when he is defeated or was he the oracle all along?
the architect is the one who enslaved the human race and the whole thing was a powerplay by the oracle to have the architect free the humans.....
was neos eyes blown out or soddered shut? i couldnt tell....
and was the person that smith infested in zion world also played by hugo weaving or was it just a guy doing a very good impersenation......

Neo was like god....sacrificing hisself for the world. They used a lot of biblical ideas in it.
I think smith was supposed to be like the antichrist. and Neo is supposed to be like Jesus. I think the machines represent all the sin humans have created. What do you guys think??

and trinity is Mary Magdalene... I really follow the idea that the Wachowski brothers incorporated bibilical characters into the matrix triology.

Smith absorbed the Oracle, but he couldn't do it fully. She is the opposite of the architect just like Smith is opposite Neo. Thing is..both the Oracle and the Architect created the Matrix, he is father she is mother. Neo's eyes were burned from the current in the cables. What I find fucked up is when Neo finds out he wasn't the first, there have been many "The Ones", but what I don't get, was..was it Neo each time and only now did he realize how to stop the cycle or was it different people. I know the trigger that stopped the cycle was Neo's love for Trinity, so he chose a different path than the ones before him. I didn't like the ending where you aren't really sure if Neo is dead or not when you see them carry off his body, but you have to assume that. Personally I thought the ending sucked. They should have had Neo find a better way to stop Smith even if he still died, that was a punk move to just have Smith absorb him, and the only reason that that even worked was because Neo was connected to the mainframe so it was able to erase Smith once he absorbed Neo. All in all I like the movies tho, waiting for the full box set to come out to buy them tho.

OK...finally watched it last night, and all I can say is...WHAT THE FUKK WAS THAT???!!!
That movie was like the war in Iraq...they had no exit strategy!
So, after sapping the life out of me for 3 fukkin movies, all we get is some bullshit truce? The machines will continue to use mankind for batteries while that little pocket of humanity hovels in fear underground?
I know that the whole thing is based on Scientologist ideas, but that ending proves that the Scientologists have no more clue than anybody else!

coz ..did you catch the oracle....architect conversation?
the architecht was going to set the humans free from the matrix!
"i have your word?"
"what do you think i am human?"(meaning he wont go back on it).
the ending supposeddly meant "or what i heard in the conversation"that the humans were going to be set free from the matrix unless they start another war with the machines

Nope, she asked what about "those that want to leave". If you remember, the machines need the humans as a power source in order to survive.

Given the choices that the movie left mankind with, MOST people would be blue pillers! What a collosal waste of my time!
The machines would use solar energy because the sky wouldnt be black anymore.
For what it's worht, I liked it. Thought it was better than the second one at least. But it's one of those films where the sequals will never have the same impact just because the first on was so different.

Oh yeah, it was WAY better than the 2nd one.
Why do you say that the sky wouldn't be black anymore? What happened to change that?
I just assumed they wouldnt make the humans stay underground anymore and at least give them some of the earth back.
But maybe not
If not then that kinda sucks.
If I wrote it I'd have the machines go inhabbit all the inhospitable places like the polar ice caps, then you could make the sky clear again and hey presto, not a single human has to be in the matrix.
Then again If I wrote it ithe ending wouldnt have been like that at all.
But it is a REAL crap idea that not all the humans would be free'd
I agree with everyone there.
