Been having a hectic few days. Matt (my youngest son) came down with appendicitis Wednesday and they took it out Thursday. I've spent all but about 6 hours at the hospital since he went in. Kind of a drag when life interferes with life. :sad:

Thats what nearly killed me when i was a little wee-fella. They didn't diagnose it correclt and it burst when i got wheeled into the hospital. This was when i was 5. To quote the movie Toys. "Appendicitis is a forgiver of no one".

Well, he's smiling and laffing again. I think that was the hardest thing about this whole shit...he didn't crack a smile for like 3 days...and that just ain't him. As I'm sure you saw in even the shotr time you were here, smiling, laffing and clowning are prerequisites in this fam. :) He's still running a constant low grade fever and moving a little slow (the 23 staples in his stomache probably have a lot to do with that), but at least he's Matt again. :)

Me and wifey are trying to catch up on rest and sleep today.

Had a crazy fukkin morning yesterday. He woke up with the incisions oozing fluid like crazy and we rushed to the ermegency room. Apparently it's cirrus (sp?) fluid...liquid fat...(he's a little chubby, though he's lost a good 10 pounds since the operation). I guess it's the same stuff they drain when they do liposuction. Scared the fukkin shit out of us.
