Question for new radio station

The radio station cluster that I work in in Austin TX has just started a new station called BOB FM basically thet play everything from the beach boys to Avril Lavigne to EMF "EVERYTHING" anyway I want to get some PM Dawn on the station. I know that "Set Adrift... " sold over 500,000 copies of the single. I am sure that " Die Without You " sold that much, but I am not sure. The reason I ask is my boss is a 65 year old man who does not trust my judgement on that song. :bash: Anyway I am not trying to be nosey I just want to add that song but he doesn't believe me it was a big enough hit... So if someone can help on this HOLLA ATCHA BOY

dude....i do not believe i'd die without you ...the single hit the 500,000 mark or well at least i don't have a plak on ebay to comemorate it........but it was on the boomerang soundtrack and it was a top 5 record...check billboards book of number 1s...i don't exactly know how a post in this forum is gonna help you but.....knock yaself out

If your e bay comment was in reference was aimed at me buying that plaque off of e bay, honestly I bought that plaque off of e bay because I collect plaques of artists that mean a lot to me... PM Dawn is my favorite group of all time so buying that plaque was so dope to me... Man I feel like an ass for offending you Be... I am so sorry

I don't think Be was offended by what you said, at least I didn't get that feeling from what he said. But I'm sure if you dug around you could find how much it sold or how long it was on the top 10 charts enough to get it some airtime. Just let him know other stations still put it in rotation, which is just plain fact.

I just got the vibe I offended him... I should have dug for more info, but I was sitting there with my boss and the subject of that song came up and I went Billboard.com to see if I could find like some sort of listing of top 10 by year but I couldn't so I figured "someone here could tell me really quick"... Today however I got the song added so... There will be PM Dawn being played in the capitol city of Texas... Its a great day to be alive
