View Full Version : Thank you PM Dawn

I primarily make music for myself, if people enjoy that's great, if people connect with it, even better. In my own personal experiences it's been rare that music outside of myself could touch me or even transform me the way that PM Dawn has. I'm not gonna claim to be a super fan and know everything about PM Dawn, the fact is I don't, I just registered for this forum tonight, and I own only 3 of the albums they've released (Bliss, Dearest Christian, and Jesus Wept) but, with that being said I'm so overly and completely impressed and I wanted to express my gratitude for music that is both commercial and real at the same time. Your lyrics and music can transport me out of the day to day monotony I get in some times, and remind of me certain people and events that make me smile or sad in that good bittersweet way.
I've never owned CD's where every single song is good and unique. I was telling my girlfriend the other day that I didn't think it was possible for PM Dawn to make a song I didn't like or at least feel.
I won't go on and on, but I did want to say thank you and I hope all your legal troubles won't stop you from continuing to make compelling music for yourself as well as your fans.
Much love and even more respect,

Satyran

Nice Lum post Hiero. I think i feel a tear forming. No...wait.....

It's gone.

Nice to see you guy who resembles Satan. I've been good! Where's my presents?!?!?!

Oh and on a serious note (if such a thing exists) PM Dawns music is a powerful thing. Music written well with emotion behind it is one of the best things in the world.

Judging by your intro post Satyran, it would seem that you have the same luv for PM Dawn that we all share here on the forum. Always great to get new member that truly appreciates the musical talent of PM Dawn. Welcome!

If the word "fat" was thrown into that sentance, I'm betting you'd recognize him chief. Tall, kinda scruffy, thinks he knows how to produce music or something. His wife is pretty good looking and knows how to keep his rear in line. That fat crotchety old black guy.

(Coz, I still like you ;) )

I'll be the first to admit it too. I could easily stand to lose more than a little around the waist line.

I just got back from visiting with all my family, though, so I'm feeling skinny (which in this case is not a good thing). My dad has 60 pounds on me and my youngest sister has about 20. If ever I felt the need to go on a diet, it's now. I don't want to live my life as a decrepit old man (like my dad).

And you know I'm just playing with you Coz... :bwhaha: :toetap:

Thanks so much to everyone for making me feel so welcome. It's cool to see that everyone here is cool and has a great sense of humor.
I'll be dropping by more and more often.
Thanks again!
