Hey, this place was jumpin earlier this week, now it's a ghost town. I hope that little brush fire between SDL and myself didn't scare everybody off. PEOPLE, we have to learn to keep on steppin right by little, and yes even big flare-ups...they're part of the human condition. Even more a part when the people concerned are family.

For the record, I wouldn't have even closed that thread. Nobody was going to ban anybody or any shit like that. Maybe some feelings got hurt, but X and I would've worked it out in our due time...we've been on this board together for years. It will probably NOT be the last time my feelings are hurt...I'm very sensitive and very emotional :shucks: ...and I hope that it's NOT the last time that somebody rags him about his reviews of boring ass music!

As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, we were ALL laffing and insulting each other until ETHER had to come in with all that ultra-sensitive BS! YEAH, IT'S ETHER'S FAULT!!!

oh i hadent read that post so i obviously missed it..but now i have i read it as Xodus making a joke as well..i always presume people are joking on here..and will seek clarification that they are serious..instead of the other way around coz! its like when i said you were condescending..that was a running joke.. if some1 who hadnt been here for years said something about your work or you then i could see where you were going..but i think for those of us who are still here after all these years know each other well enought to move on :bigthumb: dont make me bring out my horsedog to go postal on your azzes! ;)

Thats a great one!

Lennons work was fucking incredible on that album.. u put all his work together, its a masterpiece.. same for McCartney... it seemed as if although the tension was there, they were getting inspired off of each other.. i mean, Helter Skelter in its orig. form was very slow and the total opposite of what it became.. I have a recording for one of their studio's and its like 3 days worth of their rehearsals.. u hear them talk in the booth, and lay the tracks down.
Lennons work structurally stayed the same. If you listen to the home recordings .. his (and mostly mccartneys) were in the same shape (Aside from helter and a few others) I think even Lennon himself referred as (the beatle album) being his best tracks ever laid down.

George and Ringo didnt really have a lot of tracks on the white album, and I know George was building a lot up at the time.. I think George is on one of the tapes and tells yoko and John that he wants to put all his work on his own disks (which became all things must pass) and John is nicely letting him know that he is always welcome on the albums.. u could tell that George had bundles saved up and wanted to dispose all at once...

It was a big move dropping those tracks on a double album like that.. John disliked Obla Dee.. and Paul disliked Revolution 9.. but they both ended up on the album.. Its just all together my favorite Beatles album..

I also think they were talking bout (this is right before Let It Be period) that they wanted to do the White Album live.. but I think it soon became the let it be sessions, creating new material in a raw form.. no studio tricks or over dubbing.. at least that was the concept until phil was brought in my john.. I dont believe any of the beatles wanted to mess with all those tapes of rehearsals that built up at the time.. there were like 30 days worth of recordings.. I even think most all of it is spinning around on the web for download.. very repetative.. lots lots lots of tension cause that damn yoko was in the room..

In fact, the ranting i am doing at this moment is due to me listening to it as I type.. sorry let me :slap: meself...
