Hey, I was listening to Live365 Radio today and I heard a sampling of the Jesus Wept album. "A ceremony is about to begin" and "Is everybody in" were the two phrases this song sampled. The track was "Stoned Drums" by Frank Boissy. He must be a PM Dawn fan. I wonder if he had permission to sample? Has anyone heard this track?

That sample is actually (as far as I can recall) of Jim Morrison from the Doors. I forget which song, might be the Lizard King one...

Anyone help me out? I'm not a big fan of the Doors.

While you're looking at this post anyways, does anyone know where the sample before the Great Pumpkin part comes from? You know,

Also, I've also wondered about the samples from Bliss. They both sound to me like something you'd hear in a 70s sci-fi movie. Anyone?

It's from "An American Prayer", the poetry album that Jim recorded solo, and then the Doors went back after his death and added some music. The actual track is "Awake Ghost Song."
