I was reading Something Awful today in the Daily Dirt section (http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=2874) and the writer was writing about what he's listening to these days and he wrote this:

I wrote a thing making fun of PM Dawn (remember them? crappy new-age bullshit hip hop) for the Weekly Dig (a paper in Boston) a while ago and I downloaded some PM Dawn songs for reference, and they’re making me nervous by being just a little bit too rad. Especially the one that samples Spandau Ballet. Spandau Ballet is just a little too easy to listen to in the first place, so when you add in some dopey bullshit hip hop it turns kind of suspiciously awesome.

I just thought this was pretty cool because, if you're not familiar with this website, the basis of the site is to rip on everything. And as you can see, he begins to rip, then realizes he really can't rip on them. Anyways, thought it was funny.

"suspiciously awesome." I love that. It's like they can't figure out how in the world anyone could defy the stereotypes they've built up around them.
