I could use some. High 80's-90's here and no air conditioning. Been living off cold showers and high powered fans. And like an idiot I worked outside at 1pm, only the hottest time of the day. I know better. Last three people I admitted to my unit were there cause of heatstroke. And strangely enough... they all looked like Santa Claus.

I'm in the same boat as you. I must be taking 3 or 4 showers a day. It's fun when the wife joins tho...

By any chance, do you live in Santa Claus, Indiana?
HAW!!!

When I lived in Louisville (more than twenty years ago), I used to frequently see commercials for the "Santa Claus Land" theme park. I still remember the jingle:

Discover the thrills of Santa Claus Land
The holiday begins with you!

One year, they changed it to "Holiday World", presumably so they could fit in more fun holiday themes. I think they put in a Halloween theme, where you went to a haunted house, and a Valentines Day theme, where visitors can get all depressed because they're the only one in the world who's alone, and a Fourth of July theme, where visitors can blow off a thumb and two fingers with an M-80.

I never did like Indiana...:)

BTW, did you know that Indiana has the highest incidence of serial killers in the US?

Don't worry. I'm safe. Unless you make me mad or cut me off in traffic.

Holiday World in the SHIT, man!! They have two of the best wooden coasters in the world there. Raven (ranked #3) and Legend (ranked #5), both in the Halloween section of the park are AWESOME! I have to tip my hat to ANY amusement park that serves free soft drinks EVERYDAY to its guests! Plus, that is the cleanest park I've ever seen--we're talking absolutely SPOTLESS.

Great park.
