If I had to choose between the two, I would choose how. When would be tough to take. If I found out I was going to die in 20 years, I would count down day by day until then.

the how option is kinda scary cause what if you found out you were gonna die in a car accident.. for the rest of your life you would be frightened to hop in a car lest this be the day it comes..

well if you could choose when or where or whatever,would it really help you? Since you are not also choosing the right events leading up to this that will make the choice worth while? See it is my philosophy to live straight until your last breath is taken. Change will always come eventually anyway, therefore it really does not matter when and where and how and such.

I have to agree that knowing how might be worse then when. I would rather get off my ass and do as many things as possible before I died. Death is always coming, I'd rather know when so that I could go out with dignity.

If I knew how, I would get freaked out everytime I was in that situation and it would ruin whatever time I had left in life . . . just my thoughts
