Same version here, but mine works. SaintHax - could this involve more than the browser - say, maybe the OS version or Java version or something like that?

Forum is PHP/MySQL, DHTML, and AJAX based...It seems to be browser only
I'm going to screw around with it in other browsers to see what I can come up with.

Beats me, Hax. Maybe it is versions - I tend to keep these tools patched up... maybe some folks are on old versions? But Can was using FireFox 1.0.7, too...

HEY! In FireFox, you can disable JAVA and JavaScript. The menus run off of JavaScript. Now I can't select squat in the Reply to Thread page (no smilies, no fonts, no bold, etc.).

Enabling JavaScript enables the goodies now.

Oh, for those that don't want to spend 15 minutes searching:
FireFox (1.0.7):
Tools
-> Options
Click on Web Features on left (Globe)
Ensure the checkbox is checked for Enable JavaScript
Reply to a post (or refresh your page if you were already in the reply page).
Let us know if that does not clear things up...:D :D
i tried it, and no it does not work..java was already enabled....
btw Hax is a really good cook.....if i could only get him to get in the kitchen and make me some pie :)
maybe it is just me.. or my computer settings or something...who knows?????

Weird how shit just starts to work ;)
on the other hand you were probably just looking at porn, then cleared out your history/cache to hide it, and somehow cleared out the crap that was screwing up the forum for you.
nah, you did something to fix it

When I press the "Quote" button to reply to a post, only what was in that post shows up in the compose window in quote tags. Anything that that post quoted simply does not show up in the compose window.
That sounds weird; do you follow me?

If you're changing the code, can you put the "Send" button first in tab order from the message box? For years, I've used AOL Instant Messenger, so I reflexively hit TAB SPACE to send a message. When I do that in the chatroom, it opens a help window and frustrates me to no end.
