Hey, gang! I see several releases of the More Than Words Mix. And I see the 12" Ultimatum Mixes and Rocker's Rhythm. Was there ever a release that was just an original Ode to a Forgetful Mind (not a mix title)? Or is there only the mixes I mentioned?

The A-Side of the PET PROJECT release! :champ: :irock:

Though now that I think about it, I guess that is the Ultimatum Mix. Back then to give every mix on each 12" it's own chance at being a hit we would give them all names, including the original. We would also often not label either side as A, but instead give them names like This Side and That Side. The Ultimatum Mix is the original though, it's exactly how Be brought it to me. ;)

Sweet! Thanks for the history, Coz! I picked up the 12" - Gee Street Recordings release GEET 24 - PM Dawn (Prince B + Minute Mix Master)!

Hey, I just noticed that they spelled Foregtful with 2 L's (Forgetfull) on the 12" single. But on the UK release of the Of the Heart... LP, they spelled it with 2 L (Forgetful) (vinyl and CD). They also spelled it with 1 L on the Paper Doll CD Single. What's up with that? Was it originally 2 L's and the changed? Was it intentionally spelled with 2 L's originally? Just curious.

Coz - where can I see the PET PROJECT release? Is it any different from the GEET 24 that Gee Street put out? Was it released to the public (copies available out there somewhere)?

What would be *really* sweet is if I could ever get Be to sign it... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

The original is spelled with 2 Ls because I make that mistake all the time! :rotf:

Yeah, it's out there. The artist is listed as Prince B though.;) I'm not sure if it's any different, but if the GEET 24 has only 2 mixes it's probably the same thing.

No times listed on the label and I have not converted it to digital yet (you can see from the banding that there are 2 tracks per side), but the label lists (HEY! I just noticed your credits, Coz!):

Coz - is Transitions Studios your studio? Or is it a place that Ode was recorded at with you? What is the history here? It is somewhere at this point that everything went Gee Street way, right?

DAMMIT!!! Cenal? What the hell is that? And it should be Cozmic T, not Cozmix!

Yeah, Transitions is my studio. Should be Transitions Recordings. Wasn't a damm thing done at Gee Street Studios for those mixes either! :cuss:
