portishead OMG. when i was a freshman in high school i had this portishead shirt, and no one knew what it was. then i got to college and everyone knew who they were. thank god because they're amazing.

I've only heard 1 album, the 1 you all suggested I get, and it bored me to tears! I really liked 1 song on there and I think I tolerated another. Maybe if I ever find it again I'll give it another listen. :idunno:

I think there is a love/hate sort of thing going on with Portishead. I bought an album without hearing any of it first simply because my friend was going nuts about it and I respect his musical tastes.

I tried... oh I tried to like it... but I don't. It sucks. I still own it... maybe I will drag it out and try again...
