I guess I'm gonna buy a mini now...would be nice to run both OS's at the same time with a switch between option though.

Thats a big plus for Apple/Mac..Or is it the beginning of the end - like Wang computers when they began being able to run Windows?

I've run servers in a Unix based environment, where the host operating system has virtualization capabilities. I can then boot and run other guest OS’s independently of each other and the host OS. I can crash a guest OS and it has zero effect on the other OS’s running.
If it’s done right one system crashing will have no effect on the other.
I’m also wondering if I should wait on OS 10.5 before I buy a mini.

Hax, updating the OS on a Mac is seamless, nothing at all like updating Windows. :)

yeah but am I going to buy it and then turn around and have to buy an upgrade?

Probably not, they usually give you a free upgrade within a given time from purchase.
And even if they do, no Mac OS up until this point has been copy protected, so I kinda doubt if they're gonna start now. :idunno:
