yeah, but we made this forum a family site not too long ago, so we have to stick with the edits these days.

You can still do a clean remix these days.

I love the Art of Noise. And "Close to the Edit" is a cool song. :)

I used to breakdance to tracks from "Who's Afraid of?" The Art of Noise. "Close (to the Edit)" was one of the supreme breakdancing tracks. "Moments in Love" came from the same album.
The Art of Noise were pioneers of the "sampling" movement.

There's a video out on the song (Close to the Edit) too, Terrick. It shows a little girl taking a chainsaw to a grand piano. No joke.
I'm a big fan of theirs too. I have most of their CDs.

I'm also a big fan of the Art of Noise. I have almost every album on cassette (!). I need to get the CD's, though.
I think the album I enjoyed the most was "The Ambient Collection" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000003MU6/qid=1146894016/sr=1-12/ref=sr_1_12/102-4995982-1176142?s=music&v=glance&n=5174). I liked the way the songs seamlessly flowed from one sonic landscape to the next. A great album to just chill out to with your favorite alcoholic (or non-) beverage. Very much reminds me of the style of Enigma, another of my favorites.
