I just did a quick interview with Be and Dr. Giggles over the phone.
They're currently on their way to Nashville, TN (12 hr drive). I didn't want to keep them longs so I just got into the basics that everyone is wondering about...

1.) When is the album coming out?

P.m. Dawn Loves You will be released as soon as Coz stops making Satan's chicken...
Seriously...it will be released sometime the 2nd half of his year, most likely 4th quarter. It will be distributed by a major distribution company.

2.) What about this rumor of a double album?

This is a rumor...but like most rumors, it bears some truth. It is possible that P.m. Dawn Loves You will be a double disc release, but we don't know for sure yet. ABut no matter what happens there will be 3 albums released this year.


P.m. Dawn Loves You: may or may not be a double disc.
The Bliss Boyz: a hip hop P.m. Dawn album that you all have heard about.
Be's solo album...the same stuff as P.m. Dawn, just much more personal, along the lines of F*cked Music
...and if all goes well, an Un-f*cked version of F*cked Music. This will be the same album, just with all the legal issues removed.



3.) What covers, if any are going to be on P.m. Dawn Loves You?

The same covers that were going to be on Jim Sullivan ARE on P.m. Dawn Loves You. This includes Under the Bridge, Fast Car, No Woman No Cry...and also...Blurry. If I can get them all cleared anyway.

4.) Why did you pick those specific covers?

When you listen to those songs, the lyrics have a direct tie to what's been going on in my life. I made them all because they were very personal, and in some cases changed the lyrics slightly to make them even more personal. Under the Bridge is a song about drug addiction, but I sang it (and changed some words) to make my version about an addiction to a woman. And Blurry...we're just putting that on there because everyone loved it from the show (Hit Me Baby).

5.) Any additional words you might have for the fans?

Yeah...P.m. Dawn Loves You is being released only for that reason...because I love you guys. I spent way too much time and money to hand it over to a record label to fuck it up....like they fucked up Jesus Wept and Dearest Christian...if anyone's going to fuck with this record its going to be me...

Much as it pains me to type this and to have sat in a club waiting patiently all night...the guy's didn't make it to the Nashville show. Which really $#%&*!! sucks ass, pardon my French. I wish you guys the best for the other upcoming show's.

Great News about the music and the tour. I was checking the ole email and all of a sudden i saw something from Ticketmaster which said "PM DAWN in Cleveland". I was like....well crap that cannot be right.
