Some of my pics from the charlotte show are under my album link listed above.
overall it was a great show, but the highlight of my night was i got to introduce them AND perform Paper Doll with them!!! the 2nd verse...and the crowd loved it! my favorite pM Dawn song ever.
it all stems from when i saw pM Dawn in Atlanta in april and Dr Giggles flubbed the lyrics to Paper Doll...i sorta gave him a hard time about it! so this time they had me come up there and help them out! i hardly remember the detail because i was so nervous, but i tell you one thing: I got the lyrics right!!! even Be said the crowd liked it!
here is a link to the video of me doing Paper Doll, sorry the audio is so bad, my boyfriend filmed it with my digital camera!

other highlights...the soundcheck. me and marc came to see the soundcheck and got to hear bits of pM Dawn classics, like Sonchyenne!!! also, Paper Doll and Movin' On Up had alternate, hilarious titles and lyrics like, Paper Towel and You Can Put It In Your Butt!!!!
example: to the tune of the chorus of ...Movin' On Up
You Can Put It In Your Butt
Where the sun don't shine
so the back of your pants don't look like the scene of a crime!!!
Be said that the the alternate lyrics were for the future pM Dawn feminin product BLISStex!!!! :rotf:
also, the new material!!! Under The Bridge was a crowd fav!!! Be's voice really shined during the live performance of Under The Bridge and there was an obvious reaction in the crowd. Fast Car and Blurry were performed. My favorite of the new stuff had to be the cover of BBC...you know, that song from the Austin Powers movie!!!! pM Dawn's covers for the new album sound amazing, and it just goes to show that Be is a freakin genius in the studio.
if you look at my pics you can see that Be's children joined him on stage during BBC, they even sang a little, and crowd really loved it.
Greg is improving and his new verse on Movin' On Up is really, really good. I think a song like Movin' On Up is the perfect sound for Greg in the context of pM Dawn and it translates well live. Big Women and Bliss Boyz were performed.
as always, they hung around to sign autographs after the show and the fans had many good things to say.
there were some moments during this show that totally reminded me of why i loved pM Dawn's music, and why Be is an amazing talent.
Enjoy!!
