I went down to the village and watched the Macy's fireworks...they seriously outdid themselves this year. It was unbelieveable.

Performed in Tuscon on the 3rd, flew back all day on the 4th. :)

I watched a grown man set his own shoe on fire.
He thought it would be funny if he stuck a bottle rocket in his shoelaces, and shot it from his foot. Well, it didn't take off; it just shot burning sparks all over his foot, and made him hop around like a man gone mad. He didn't get hurt; he kicked the rocket loose before it exploded, but his shoe was glowing embers and smoking for several minutes afterward. Burning shoes smell really bad.
