So, my girlfriend bought us tickets to go see a production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" last night at the local concert hall in Kitchener. I didn't really know much about it, so as I settled into my seat I started reading the program notes.
So I'm reading, and I see that Jesus is played by the guy from the movie... that's cool... and Judas is played by some guy named Corey Glover... and... wait! Corey Glover? That Corey Glover? Yes!
Now, Living Colour is one of my top five favourite bands, but I've never seen them live... so this just made my head spin since it was so unexpected.
I'm still somewhat dazed, but it was a great performance, and got an enthusiastic ovation from the audience.
Just thought I would share.
