syxxpms 2006 trainwreck in review

one of my x managers commited suicide
another one was hit by a truck in vegas
the guy who hired me in dumont was fired after 24 years than two weeks later found out he had cancer and than the week after that died of cancer
my original co manager(film lab in teaneck died of cancer (they gave her to christmas she didnt even make thanksgiving)?"its in the record newspaper this week.....
a former employee i worked with in dumont was hit and killed when his friend ran him over with a stationwagon while both were blitzed
my store manager was forced out with no notice and has yet to get reconstructive surgery on his chest and legs ..( he has three hernias and two blown out knees) he was out two years ago for stomach cancer and before that had a heartattack....and my exa was forced out and transferred from teaneck to LINDEN!..

we lost three of my best workers who quit no notice
and also four of my worst who also quit no notice...
i trained a kid last monday who lasted 6hours before walking out..

someone got stabbed in the parking lot infront of the store last friday

one of my photo techs quit no notice than sued for discrimination
than got her job back...than quit notice again and is trying to get maternity leave while she is only 5 months pregnant....

i have a new store manager and exa .and district manager and loss prevention supervisor not to mention a new staff of people who dont learn rather quickly....and the photo customers are more rude and insipid than ever (it scares me than im smarter than the majority of 40-60 year old people i serve...not to mention have better manners)...these people live in their own narcissistic bubble....(and i thought i was sheltered )...


all of my hobby shops are gone from my town (no book/record/video/toy/electronic stores)

so 95 percent of what i buy is online...




but on the brightside




im still alive
i have a nice small toasty room
i have a forum i can chat and vent on...
i finished and paid for my christmas shopping
wrestling is on tonite.
and chief still has a clownsuit a shotgun and a giant chicken!

my job is like melrose place except there is no gorgeous blonde who walks up to everybody...slaps then and calls them bastards...though im starting to think life is full of "kimberlys"

the only problem with that is that the job back in the good old days was a freakin dream! iloved the early parts of both my stints (1994-1998) and (2002-2005)

and than new admin took over and it turned into auschwitz (on both occasions..)

Yeah, that's happened to me. It's amazing how one asshole loser can ruin a wonderful job. It really makes you think how one person really can make a difference -- for good for ill.
