Note: this has nothing to do with Lance Armstrong, or any other living monorchic celebrities.

For years, I've taken for granted that Hitler only having one ball was a matter of fact. However, as of late, I have found out that it's actually a hotly debated topic: some say that one didn't descend, some say that he was injured in WWI, some say that it was just silly lies by members of the parties that the Nazis deposed, or even Allied propaganda-- it's unclear. I just wanted to find out which of you believe the lone nut theory, and which of you think it's "bollocks".

Bollocks. No historical proof. We have his medical records, and it's never mentioned in there.

On the contrary, M. There are a few sources which confirm that he had only one. During WWI, he received a grievous injury to the "thigh/groin" area. Although this is not specific enough to lead one to a conclusion, it does invite theory. Also in the military, he received a VD examination, and the army doctor noted that he was missing one. The Soviets claim to have recovered his corpse, and in the autopsy, noted that he was missing one. These records exist, and are widely cited.

I'm sorry, but "no historical proof" is the only bollocks here. The question is not whether the proof exists, but whether that proof itself is authentic. That is where the debate hinges.

Yeah but the proof not being authentic is what makes the situation have "no historical proof."

Hitler's corpse was incinerated, so the autopsy released by the Soviet Union in the 70's is not regarded as legit. An injury to the "groin area" can mean anything in a pretty large region of the anatomy and is completely non-specific. And the supposed VD examination cannot be corroborated as a historical document.

Ergo, no historical proof that he had any deformities in that region.

Does anyone have proof from a reliable source that Hitler had only 1 nut? As far as I can remember, people have been debating how Hitler actually died and whether or not the body that they claim to be his actually is his.

For lack of evidence to the contrary, it is assumed Hitler had two balls...

It's interesting to note, however, that the man who tried to assasinate him on July 20th 1944, was missing one arm, one eye, and eight fingers.

I don't think Hitler was gay...somebody I work with was talking about that tonight. He also said he heard Abraham Lincoln might have been gay. I don't know if I buy it.
