The most well-known and well-loved athlete on the planet, and a fellow Louisvillian, is now officially a senior citizen. I can remember when he won the championship belt for the third time, and how my town rejoiced. Most cities have a Martin Luther King, Jr. Street; Louisville has Muhammed Ali Boulevard.

They're all boulevards. For some stupid ass reason every time they name a street after a famous black person they call it a boulevard. I think it's so white people can go to any city in America, open up a map, and instantly know where they put the black people.

Boulevards are traditionally longer and classier than streets, right? It could be worse, they could have made them all Courts, or worse yet, Alleys or Ways. Attrell Cordes Alley? :)

You could always follow the "parade" of hip-hop-boomin'-on-the-car-steroes suburban white kids heading to those streets for the very same.
