Cruise for my 40th BD. Youngest will turn 3 on the cruise, so she is cheap since she will only be 2 at the start of the cruise. Oh - Mickey Boat cruise! 5 year old is really looking forward to the clubs.

As of Thursday afternoon, I am on Spring Break.

There will be housecleaning.

There will be rollerskating.

There will be music.

Too bad for me, I have to miss the ICP show in St. Pete. It's during Finals. Maybe they'll come twice this year.

I want to go to Disney before spring ends. When does spring end?

We just had the walls in our office rearranged and just got new carpets upstairs today. My wife says it looks great; I haven't seen it yet.

God, I sound so old...

I'm loving what we're doing! We're halfway done tearing out the floors... the previous owners trashed the place, and the floors are really disgusting and cheap-looking.... It's such a positive experience though. I'm so pleased with how well it goes for us so far and how much enjoyment we get out of it. AND our daughter is so well-behaved for us while we're working. I'm psyched. I feel so fortunate to have this opportunity.

That's a great attitude to have towards it. It's a lot of work, but we've been really happy with it when it's finished.

Congratulations!

I went on a trip to Hell.

I thought that was where I was currently? At least I get to come home tonight (wednesday->thursday) and be home tomorrow.

No, I'm afraid you are mistaken, because I was definitely in Hell and did not see you there.

Two weeks ago I was on spring break, so I went to three Ataris concerts in a row in the two neighboring states. Other than that, I'm just going to school for four more weeks and wondering why it was 82 last week and 31 this week. I think I'm gonna have to take a few road trips during summer, though.

Hey Louis...

The family and I hit Six Flags Magic Mountain yesterday.

Tatsu is a major pucker-factor ride.

I began to have serious misgivings as we were headed up the first hill. I realized that the only thing between me and the ground was the safety restraint system.

One ride was enough for all of us. Whereas, we did just about every other ride at least twice.

Bonk, did you ride X? That ride is freaking CRAZY! You never know which way is up and which way your going. Cool ride.

Chris, second time at MM since they've had X...second time I haven't ridden it.

First time the wife and I went, we waited over an hour in line and got maybe a third of the way to the boarding gates. It was hot out and we were tired of standing in the sun, so we left.

This time, we just walked past it.

I do want to ride it, I just don't want to wait in the long lines...especially since they have so many "technical" delays.

Some day, maybe. If Six Flags doesn't sell the place off.

Ahhhh, you HAVE to ride that next time!

Sorry for the late response, Bonkman. I've been sleeping many of my replies lately.

Yeah, Tatsu, one of the many cloned B&M flyers. I must say I'm NOT a big fan of the flying coasters. I don't like the ones made by Vakoma or B&M. The Vakoma ones are a bit more gentle ride, but they torture you in the station. The B&M's are just the opposite. B&M makes great coasters, but I like their everyday regular or floorless models i.e. Nitro, Raging Bull, Nightflight etc. I'm actually getting too old to be turned upside down too much.

And Chris, I don't think you could ever get me to ride X. Maybe I'd ride it just once to get it on my list, but certainly not more than that. It's way too spinny for me.

Wow, really? I thought you'd be all over that, the coaster buff that you are! It's definitely different, and not that I've ridden a lot, but it's probably the wildest one I've ever been on.

...Yeah, Tatsu, one of the many cloned B&M flyers....

What do you mean by "cloned"?

I thought Tatsu was fairly unique due to the fact it's built on top of the hill and runs around much of it. Not sure you'd be able to pick it up and place it in another park as such. Then again, a fair amount of the coasters at MM are custom built for the landscape.
