I'M IN CHARLOTTE NURSING A SPRAINED KNEE AND ANKLE (THE RESULT OF BEING DARED BY CHILDREN TO SKATEBOARD OFF A 6 FOOT RAMP AND FALLING) AND AFTER MY TIME IN MIAMI I FEEL SAD AND DEPRESSED..........................HOW DO I BOUNCE BACK INTO MY OLD SELF, WITHOUT USING A DOUBLE-PUMP SHOTGUN OR SEROQUEL?
I CAN'T GO INTO DETAILS TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT BUT MY HEART HURTS AND I CAN'T MAKE IT STOP.

I've been asking the same question :think: ....if I figure out a good answer, I'll pass it along!

But I think I feel the most depressed if I'm angry and frustrated and feeling out of control of my life and helpless. Doing things that make me feel more in control of my life helps me a lot.

You have to look on the bright side! Just think, if you didn't sprain your knee/ankle, you wouldn't have a cool skateboarding story to tell. It also convinced me to give in and spend the 50 bucks on pads for when I go rollerblading, so you might be saving my life. I bet that ramping story will be pretty funny later, too, when you heal.

AND you get some cool privileges when your injured. You could get a wheel chair and get in the front of every line at any theme park. When my friend got his eye torn open, his eye patch attracted the attention of a band we wanted to see when we were sitting outside of the bar they were playing at (we're not 21 yet) and they snuck us in the back door with them. And you learned a good lesson: don't accept challenges from children.

Plus, you're IN PM DAWN. I'd say that's a pretty big thing to be happy about.
