I'll agree with that. The lead singer has no emotion or tone. He sucked.
The arrangement was good and harmonizing good.
The tempo was a major turn-off, though. Way too fast for that song. If they'd slowed it down, I'd bet it would better resonate with the audience.
And that wasn't an octet. I counted at least 12 people there.
I give it a C-.

One of the first things I noticed was that it was not an octet. After looking on YouTube a bit, I figured out that it is just the name of the group. It looks to be between 12 and 16 kids and they have been doing shows for a few years. Maybe it is some group on campus that naturally reinvents itself every 4 years with passing students. A competing acapella group from the same campus is Ephlat...
I totally agree with the tempo comment - I like the tempo be sang it at.
