I hope the show gets a spinoff that continues the series. I can't imagine that the networks would simply pass on a great concept like a second American Civil War, and neither can I imagine that this is the last that we'll ever see of Hawkins. Maybe Hawkins can go on 24 and fill in for Jack Bauer at CTU until Kiefer Sutherland's fulfilled his community service.

I looked up the actor who plays Hawkins-- did you know that he's English? His
American accent is so convincing, that I was just sure that he was American.

now, I'm not 100% sure on this but I read somewhere that the SciFi channel is making their own version of it (which btw, is the reason they gave for not picking up Jericho). Not sure if it's gonna suck rocks or not, but at least we'll get our post end of civilization fix somewhere.
