I didn't say that he was never funny; just that he stopped being funny. Most of the great comedians don't stay good for life unless they die young (like Sam Kinison). Just like rock stars.

THAT'S NOT TRUE, HE CONSTANTLY SOLD OUT CONCERTS AND HE WAS HILARIOUS. AS FOR THE YOUNG STUFF, CHRIS ROCK AND STEVE HARVEY PROVE YOU WRONG , B-CUZ THEY DROP FUNNY SHIT EVERYTIME THEY DO A NEW SHOW(AND THEY GET BETTER WITH AGE). HELL I CAN SEE CHRIS ROCK'S CAREER BEING AS LONG AS MR. CARLIN'S WAS.
