yo coz, i'm trying to get my little lab more organized.....have you ever worked with behringer equipment? it seems to be the only shit i can afford, but i'm thinkin there's gotta be a reason it's so cheap, no? i mean i got a patch bay, condensor mic, and real small little mixer with phantom power picked out and it's all for about $220............it's gotta be too good to be true, right? i mean it aint gotta be top notch, specially with all the intentional noize i put into my shit, a little more won't kill it, but is this behringer stuff really just total crap? :donno:

As far as I know FrEk (and there is a good chance that I don't), the benefit of balanced vs unbalanced in any situation is less signal loss or degradation.

the patch bay i'm looking at is for unbalanced connections, will that work with my shit? i just got normal outputs on everything, my keyboard, sampler, vocoder, guitars..........can i run all this shit through this patch bay? as long as the shit will work fine, then whatever.......i just never heard of this balanced/unbalanced shit..........there is one i saw for $10 more that's both balanced/unbalanced.....i don't know, long as tha shit works............
