I don't even know why they had to do the switcheroo. The girl with the nice singing voice isn't hard to look at or anything; she's just not "perfectly" cute as the CCP might have put it. I can't believe that the gov't official who answered the press said the switch was "in the national interest".
It's in the national interest to hide little girls in closets, just because they have crooked teeth?
