I was watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and on one of the Nickelodeon floats, the song abruptly stopped, and Rick Astley came out from a hiding place on the float, and started to sing "Never Gonna Give You Up"!

I can't believe that 4Chan has had such a huge effect on popular culture. However, I am happy that Rick Astley has benefited from it...

I love that song. I had a crush on Rick Astley in the 4th grade. It was my first celebrity crush. And then I made the mistake of telling my friend, who had a much older sister who was into hair bands. So she made fun of me because didn't I know that I was supposed to have a crush on the guys in like Def Leppard or Cheap Trick or something more respectable? I felt so bad, that I never had a crush on a celebrity again. :(

But I still like that song ;)
