Have any of you heard those radio ads for that referral service called 1-800-411-PAIN? I hear those things several times a week, and they are driving me crazy. What is it? It's the voice-over. The announcer has the weirdest, most irritating voice; it's like hearing nails on a chalkboard while chewing styrofoam and squeezing cotton, while mosquitoes are buzzing in both ears, all at the same time.
What really gets me is when she says the word "pain" when reciting the toll-free number. It's this weird, shrill thing; y'know what she sounds like? To me, she sounds like Slimer from "The Real Ghostbusters" cartoon. I cringe whenever she says 411, because I know that she's about to say "pain" again in that awful way that she says it.
Ooooh, that makes me mad!

She's actually a dj for a Miami radio station. That squeal of hers makes a shitload of money, torturing the airwaves.

What? Who wants to listen to that crap? What is the name of the DJ?
What kind of music does her station play? Is it something as annoying as her, like Reggaeton? Or maybe it's an all-Ke$ha, all the time station...

Power 96
The same station that brought PM Dawn to the Hard Rock on Valentines Day a year or two ago.
I'm pretty sure it's Lucy Lo(Pez).....or the other bitch. One of those bitches.
I just don't get it. It sounds like she's in the middle of a boa constrictor attack all the time.

Luckily I quit listening to the radio ages ago. :)

That's a very good way to describe it.

How does someone with a voice like that make it on a medium where you're supposed to have an attractive voice?
