digital shamen? still? i say wispers n mass distortion for the vocals

and shit at least you have time to get writers block, i'm so damn busy i aint even turned my equipment on in like 2 weeks, and probably won't have a chance to get serious about doin shit till next semester, but i'll have learned all the badass equipment i'll have by then so s'all good, in any event.....DROP SOME A THAT MILLENIUM CALL ON ME!!!

Shit, it ain't even Digital Shamen now, I had to put that shit to the side, it's the final new piece for the album ("Fire & Snow"), and it's fukkin killin me. Luckily, after I posted this I went upstairs and watched some brainless boob tube, and now coming back down what I did actually sounds good to me, so hopefull I just had to get away for a minnit.

Yo FrEk, you ain't start doin shit in the store yet, that's what all them mofos do at Sam Ash in the city...lucky mollyfukks!

Don't worry, Millenium Call will be my Thanksgiving present to you...oh wait, that's right...OK, my Christmas pres...no, that's right, that won't work either...ahh well, never mind...heheheheh  :flipoff:

HEY...gimme a fukkin answer on that meat clonin thing dammit!!!

yeah i gotta install cubase sx over there, i don't think it's in the pc, just sonar, logic, nuendo and some other stuff i think. spend alot of time fucking with the synths, i gotta get one a them virus kc synths, the more i fuck with it the more i fall in love.

mollyfuck? damn i get busy as fuck in there, like talkin to 2 guys at once while someone else is waving me over and the phones ringin, and 32 little kids are conspiring to give me an anurism by bangin on every drum machine and keyboard and the arpeggiators keep on goin as they move from one piece to the next.
and damn, people either ask me the most compicated question or the stupidest question. ....my multitrack is broken it won't let me use "undo" when i turn it on.... well what procedure did you want to undo? ....what do you mean?.... well you have to do something before you can undo it ....oh yeah, that makes sense, i guess i should have thought about that before trying to exchange it....
or ....the orifice on my karaoke machine is different than the orifice on my guitar.... and well you can pretty much imagine trying to explain shit to a guitarist well into his 70's who's asking about cassette tape and calling jacks "orifices"......but in any event the solution to his problem was .......mic the amp ....do what?.... put the microphone next to the guitar amplifier ....oh yeah, that makes sense, i guess i should have thought of that before exchanging this widget (direct injection box).... so it's dealing with this all day and then the occasionally somebody'll come in with superspecific questions about digital convertors and sample rates and formats and all kindsa shit that the techie i aint knows next to shit about.........but yeah we get the days where we just play with the toys all day too so s'all good

and oh yeah, my b-day is in january

"September Morn (Fire & Snow)" is the 1 true slow song on the album...it's about 9/11. It leads right into an uptempo track about war...which is probably what's kicking my ass. I think if I can get the right feel for the war track then Fire & Snow will write itself...but walking that fine line between uptempo rhythms and war and misery is a tall order. It'll come though.

Yeah, dealing with idiot customers is definitely NOT 1 of the perks of working there...but in the city they hang out (or at least they used to) well after hours just to use the pro shit, or they come in early. I'm sure it will pay off in the long run for ya.

kinda related: it's funny, my schools studio has a kurzweil k2500s (i think that's the model anyway) and several patches in there were like directly used on summa pm dawns stuff, like i hate myself for you, as dissapointing as your mercy is, and it's kinda ruined summa the synth for me, in that i can't use those patches without thinkin a those songs.......kinda the same reason i'll never get a triton every fukkin sound that thing can make is all over the radio already..........any way i got sumthin you can pat yourself on the back about coz, sometimes in the store i'll just play the bass line from jam on it on a synth and i'd say a good 1/2 to 3/4 of the time somebody walkin by'll start in "jam on it, jam on it" or "wikki wikki wikki" hahahaha but then most a them'll go "who the hell did that anyway" :poke:
