    well, dogs are carnivores basically.. i don't understand why you'd force an animal to deviate from its innate biological nature

    dogs are carnivorous animals, evolution has shaped them physiologically in every manner to be meat eaters--from their fangs for shredding flesh and bone to their particular digestive tract which is made for digesting meat.

    i just think you're inviting health issues and possibly degenerative diseases for your pet if you force it into being something it hasn't evolved to be.

    wow havent been here in quite a while and this is the first thing i read :/

    humans have shaped dogs more than evolution has, what anyone is feeding there pet dog is way far off from what theyd be eating in the wild, there sure as hell aint no beef kibble tree and id love to see a dog take down a cow (especially a scrawny 10 lb italian greyhound).......but just refering to "in the wild" in the context of pet dogs makes absolutely no sense, like i said we've shaped dogs more than evolution has.....there "wild state" has become synonomous with there current domesticated state and "natural" has lost all meaning. from my point of view it makes no sense to exploit one type of animal to sustain another just because he is "mine". because he is "mine" however is all the more reason to not feed him the horrid things they put into dog food.

    but anyway, who gives a fuck........how has everybody been? as busy as ive been i doubt ill be able to read everything thats been goin on so whats new?
